One of the many wonders of motherhood is the wolf spider, who carries her egg sack with her, and then carries the babies on her back once they hatch. I found a wolf spider mother about four years ago, with a passel of babies on her back, but I don’t recall ever seeing a mama wolf spider with her egg sack. This gal was in our house on a stack of magazines last night. I caught her in a jar and let her go this morning, so I could take pictures of her.
The many wonders of Creation.
