Daily Life Photojournalism

This blog was founded upon an idea that there is much beauty in the mundane of daily life. And since most of what I experience is “daily life,” with not a lot of traveling or sightseeing (excepting for our hiking adventures), that is what is available for me to photograph! I coined (and someone else probably has, too) the term “daily life photojournalism,” to describe the style and subject matter of a lot of my photography – Jars of jam in the sunlight, sisters of mine climbing the rocks at Little Falls, our cats and dogs, odds and ends of things around our cabin, old bottles, rusted out vehicles, etc., etc.
